    Decent facilities but local road access is not great.

    The town offices that are alongside the baseball diamond seem to create a lot of conflict with people who need to park at this public spot. On several occasions, By-Law Officers have come by to give cyclists a hard time for parking at the ball diamond and then crossing the road to ride in the forest. Recently, in the name of "safety" a by-law officer illegally forced a school group to unload on the 80km/h road way rather than allow access to an empty parking lot. It's criminal that by-law enforcement would risk the lives of children to protect an empty parking lot. The quoted issue, "one person can use the park...but 300? Not without permission." There were only a few dozen people. Furthermore, the number of people is not relevant to access to public facilities. I guess they'd rather the kids be smoked by cars. The gentleman clearly did not understand law - scary given it is his job to enforce it.

    Two full sized baseball diamond and a large soccer field. When busy parking is hard to come by.
